Newton police charged four people—Jeffrey Alan Stevens, Scott Ray Mabrier, Thomas Patrick Olofson and Alysha Anne Buell—with abuse of a corpse and obstruction of prosecution after a June 9 search warrant uncovered the body of 66-year-old Tomie Lee Misner Jr. and 11 pounds of meth at a Newton home.
