Reynolds received the Iowa DOGE Task Force final report with 45 recommendations after 180 days of study, including a merit-based pay system for teachers that offers bonuses and professional development—plus a study of a defined-contribution plan for state employees and a suggestion for municipalities over 50,000 to combine services to cut costs.
