- ➤ Gov. Kim Reynolds announced the Healthy Kids Iowa pilot program to feed kids during the summer after the state stopped the summer EBT program in August 2024. The program will run from June through August and will let families at or below 185% FPL choose $40 in fresh food per month for each child aged 4 to 18 — with sites chosen through a partnership with six Feeding America Food Banks.
