  • Iowa lawmakers reached a $9.4 billion budget compromise with Gov Reynolds on Monday that will fund Medicaid and schools for the next fiscal year. The Senate will work with the House this week to finalize property tax reforms and school funding bills before the session ends on Friday — avoiding a delay that would force lawmakers to work into next week without pay.  Local 5
