GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday, the Iowa House passed the K-12 school funding bill for the 2025-2026 school year, which raises state supplemental aid to 2% and boosts per pupil funding by $157 along with adding a $5 increase to the state cost per pupil and a 5% boost for transportation equity funding, bringing an extra $238.1 million to schools. The bill follows lengthy negotiations between both chambers and now awaits Governor Kim Reynolds’ approval. KCCI
