EDUCATION NEWS

  • Iowa State University will upgrade Lake LaVerne later this spring with over $5 million in improvements. The nearly 3-acre lake will be drained to remove sediment, algae and debris and to add seating, a pedestrian bridge and an outdoor amphitheater; work is expected to finish by 2028.  Local 5
